Lending a Hand [LITERALLY] to the Typhoon Haiyan Relief Efforts

Ways to Help

 

  1. Donate Online. Please donate online at www.gofundme.com/ucdriseupph. Every donation counts!

  2. Donation Jars. Donation jars can be found at every upcoming event held by one of the 7 Filipino American organizations (see UCD FilAm), Cross Cultural Center (CCC) and at the Student Recruitment & Retention Center (SRRC). They will also be circulating the UCD campus this upcoming weeks. Please make checks payable to "PASE" and deliver them to Robyn Huey or one of the 7 FilAm Presidents. You can also bring them to any of the BRIDGE staff at the SRRC.

  3. Material donations. Please bring your donations to the SRRC. Suggestions for donations are:

    • Non-perishable foods NOT requiring water/ectricity/can-openers

    • Basic medicine and first-aid kit supplies

    • Bottled water

    • Candles, matches

    • Clothing

    • Blankets​

  4. Attend a FilAm fundraiser. Fundraisers and charity events will be publicized through this website, Facebook, and emails. Check the Events tab above to see a full list of upcoming events. To be added onto an e-mail listserv, please e-mail Angelica Singson at amsingson@ucdavis.edu.

  5. Be informed. Being aware and keeping yourself updated is crucial to spreading awareness, enabling change, and giving rise to action. Educate yourself to help educate others.
